The Rheingans Sisters
Kings Place, Hall Two, N1 9AG , [Venue Details]Produced by New York-based Adam Pietrykowski (whose genre-diverse work spans rock and contemporary classical), visionary duo The Rheingans Sisters’ fifth album spans from baroque fiddle tunes to metal-inspired arrangements of folk ballads.
After over a decade releasing celebrated albums (BBC Radio 2 Folk Award winners of Best Original Track 2016 and Best Band nominees in 2019) and touring across the world, The Rheingans Sisters release their much anticipated fifth studio album in 2024.
With the warmth and empathy their songwriting has become well known for, with sounds of electric guitar and synths underpinning raw textures of fiddles, feet and medieval bass drones of the tambourin à cordes, The Rheingans Sisters are one of the most visionary acts on the British folk scene today.
This new live show is a sonic and aesthetic development of their live work so far, creating an even more immersive musical journey for their audience with Hall Two’s d&b Soundscape system.
This event will last approximately 2 hours, including an interval.
